Tour Overview

This is the route where Morocco opens up. From the High Atlas you drop into the Dadรจs Valley, ride through the Skoura palm belt to the Dades Gorge, cross Todra's limestone walls and reach the gateway of the Sahara at Merzouga. Four days of riding, one of the most varied landscapes in North Africa.

Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Tizi n'Tichka Pass

Climb the High Atlas Mountains over Tizi n'Tichka pass. Explore Telouet Kasbah and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou before overnighting in Ouarzazate.

Day 2

Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert via Draa Valley & Alnif

Ride south along the Draa Valley through endless date palm oases. Cross arid stony plateaus and desert mountain passes to reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.

Day 3

Merzouga Sahara Dunes to Tinghir & Todra Gorge

Experience sunrise over the Sahara dunes and open desert tracks. Ride via the historic caravan town of Rissani towards the dramatic 300-meter vertical limestone cliffs of Todra Gorge.

Day 4

Tinghir to Marrakech via Dades Switchbacks & High Atlas

Conquer the famous winding roads of Dades Gorge before heading west through Ouarzazate and back across the High Atlas to Marrakech for your farewell dinner.

A valid full motorcycle license (unrestricted Class A or equivalent international endorsement) from your home country is required. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is also recommended.

Can a pillion passenger join this tour?

Yes! Our touring and dual-sport motorcycles are fully equipped for two-up riding with comfortable passenger seating and backrests. Alternatively, non-riding companions can travel in the air-conditioned 4x4 support vehicle.

How is our luggage transported during the tour?

Your main luggage is safely transported every day in our dedicated 4x4 support truck. You only ride with daily essentials (camera, light layers, water) in a small tank bag or tail pack.

What is the standard of accommodation?
